1500 Smiles and Counting: Our Journey So Far

Today, True Circle celebrates a significant milestone—1,500 meals served! Each meal represents a moment of connection and a step toward a hunger-free Bangalore. Reflecting on the past three months, we’re amazed at how far we’ve come since our first distribution drive, where every detail was new and every task a learning experience. Since then, our volunteer team has grown, our processes have become more refined, and our impact has deepened.

Our journey so far is marked by incredible numbers: 1,500 meals distributed, 12 successful drives completed, 5 regular volunteers, and five established distribution locations, supported by our dedicated restaurant partner. But beyond these numbers are the personal stories that give our work meaning—the elderly gentleman who now has a reliable Sunday meal, the children who enjoy a weekend treat, and the communities that know they can count on us.

One key lesson we’ve learned is the importance of consistency. Our volunteers show up every week, rain or shine, building trust with our beneficiary communities and providing much-needed reliability. We’re grateful for everyone who has joined us on this journey, and we’re excited for the next 1,500 smiles we’ll share together.
