True Circle's journey since its August launch has been marked by remarkable growth and impact, evolving from a simple idea into a community movement. In just four months, we've built a robust network of three dedicated restaurant partners - Geist Brewery, Barbeque Nation, and California Burrito - supported by 10+ regular volunteers who have helped distribute over 5,000 meals across six established distribution routes.
Our experience has provided valuable insights into effective food rescue operations. We've learned that consistency is key to building trust, professional partnerships are fundamental to success, and volunteer engagement drives sustainable growth. Our focus on documentation and community feedback has helped us continuously improve our efficiency and impact. We've successfully overcome various challenges, from last-mile delivery logistics to weather-related obstacles, strengthening our operational capabilities in the process.
Looking ahead to 2023, we've set ambitious goals to expand our impact. Our plans include growing our restaurant partner network, increasing weekly meal capacity, strengthening our volunteer program, and implementing comprehensive feedback systems. These four months have laid a strong foundation for future growth, demonstrating the powerful impact possible when communities come together for a common cause.
